Saratoga Polo Artists

Saratoga Polo has a long tradition of supporting the arts. Our facility showcase many world renowned sculptors, photographers and painters. We are proud to have in our collection works by sculptors John Henry and Peter Lundberg along with beautiful paintings that can be purchased and commissioned by polo artists Melinda Brewer and Rod Skidmore.

Melinda Brewer

Melinda has a Bachelor of Fine Art degree completed from Concordia University with a major in Studio Art, Drawing and Printmaking. In 2005 she was commissioned by the Museum of Polo to paint the Horses to Remember for Polo Museum and Hall of Fame 2006 honourees, Gay Boy and Levicu. Her racing art collection is currently on display at the Springwater Bistro in Saratoga Springs, NY. View Melinda Brewers Art

Peter Lundberg

Peter Lundberg is widely acclaimed for his monumental concrete and steel sculptures. Lundberg is also respected for his leadership in bringing sculpture to the public. Two of Peter's large sculptures and studies are on display at Saratoga Polo. View Peter Lundberg's work coming soon!

Cliff Oliver

Clifford Oliver plays well with others and works well with others too. For over thirty years Clifford Oliver Photography has been providing images for New York State through his staff positions with Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation and Upstate Medical Center. His fascination with life has led to photography for a diverse clientele. He has been one of Saratoga Polo's inhouse photographers for the past decade. Rod Skidmore

Rod's paintings entitled "Sunset Run for the Goal", "La Palmaerie", "Nicolas", " Rolex Gold 90 & 91", "Andy Busch", and were as the cover art for the 2006 WEF Prize List Program," have been featured in the Sporting Art issue of Polo Player's Edition, PQ Magazine Winter 2001 issue has Rod's painting entitled "Coming Storm" which features Memo Gracida, one of Polo's most respected and revered professional players. Tom Sullivan
